After the promo’s of the Saawariya has released Ranbir is one among the selective male stars whom the public can’t just get enough of. So far the new heartthrob Ranbir’s fan count was in terms of girls but now the gay communites are striking to win him over. In an article published by Mumbai Mirror it has be found that male lovers just can’t stand any girl comment anything on their Greek God Ranbir Kapoor.

After Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan, it is Ranbir Kapoor’s turn to be hailed as a gay icon. The members of the gay community in the city are all planning to gatecrash at the premiere of Saawariya! And all this, so that they can get to see their latest icon in flesh and blood.

In fact, a number of homosexual college students, even had a serious showdown with some girls where they proudly claimed that they would never allow any of the girls to even get close to Ranbir. Darshan Shah, 18, a finance student from Santacruz, boldly says, “I would love to scratch Ranbir. He is so hot! Ranbir’s sex appeal lies in his eyes. He comes across as an extremely down-to-earth guy. Words cannot describe my feelings for him. I cannot bear the thought of any girl getting close to him. If she did, I’d turn her into a lesbian.”

Shah admits that his group does have big plans to gatecrash at the Saawariya premiere. “We have big plans but we cannot reveal anything right now,” he says.

Mitesh Mehta, 22, working at a call centre, hails from a well-to-do family from Lokhandwala. He says, “Ranbir is our Greek God! I just don’t like it when my female friends have to say something nasty about Ranbir. I just tell them to go take a hike!”

Shamir Karachiwala, 23, an accountant by profession, and living at Bandstand, Bandra, says, “For us gays, the body is very essential and I think Ranbir has a body to be worshipped. Here, I would like to mention that we are not sex predators. We have feelings too! The emotion with which a girl looks at a guy applies to us too.”

Darshan Shah says that Ranbir should not feel angry about the feelings expressed by the gay community, in this article. “In fact, I would say that he should take his gay fans into consideration first. Our feelings for him are genuine and hope he can understand that!”
